Being the land of innovators in the field of technology, it is no surprise that the world is watching India closely for the innovation and contribution the country is making towards the growth of cryptocurrencies. The cryptocurrency scene in India has been on a rise ever since last year wherein we have also seen a lot of growth, development and innovation.
In the first quarter if 2018 alone, we have two big news from the Koinex Indian Crypto exchange:
- Koinex’s Android app, which looks promising.
- Added support for OMG and Req crypto-asset
Let us throw some light on the impressive mobile app by Koinex.
I had covered Koinex in detail last year and recieved mixed reviews and feedbacks from users regarding the support. In my review too, I had raved about the Koinex interface and experience, but felt the need for them to improve their customer support system.
Considering that crypto is a new technology and requires a lot of hand-holding, a company can’t prosper without having a high-quality support team. Even after a lot of complaints when Koinex was unable to deliver the support it should, I was personally skeptical of the future of Koinex, and we stopped recommending it to our users.
However, with the launch of Koinex Android mobile app, they have earned the trust in the space. The app is unique and lets you easily trade cryptocurrency from the comfort of your mobile app.
Koinex, in my opinion, should also integrate the UPI payment feature, something that can be a game changer for them. It will help the seasonal buyer to quickly purchase crypto-assets from the Koinex platform. Koinex also supports many popular crypto-assets like:
Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, OmiseGO, Request, GNT, MIOTA, XRP, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
Another cool feature of the Koinex mobile app is an option to set the alarm for the price.
You can set the price alert for any of the supported cryptocurrency on Koinex’s new platform. Here are a few screenshot from the Koinex Android mobile app:
Well, it will be interesting to see how Koinex continues to improve, especially in the customer support domain, and take care of user queries on social media. If they don’t, eventually it will be hard for them to recover from the plethora of negative reviews from existing users.
For now, let’s rejoice the launch of Koinex’s Android app as the Indian users have one more mobile app to trade multiple crypto assets.
In another news, Indian exchange Unocoin also became a multi crypto asset exchange and I will be reviewing them in the coming days. If you have used the Koinex mobile app, do share your experience and reviews with us.
